With a focus on emotional well-being, friendships, and inclusion, the council helps shape a supportive and nurturing environment for all students.

    Objectives

    • Promote Emotional Well-being: Provide students with tools and activities to support their mental health, such as creating calm kits, gratitude jars, and safe spaces.
    • Foster Friendships: Encourage students to build strong, positive relationships and support each other within the school community.
    • Celebrate Diversity: Emphasise the unique strengths and individuality of each student while creating an inclusive school culture.

    Focus Areas

Each term, the council explores themes like well-being, inclusion, and celebrating differences. Meetings involve interactive activities, student-led discussions, and collaborative planning to ensure their voices are heard and their ideas are implemented.

The council not only enhances the school experience but also teaches valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. By participating, students take an active role in shaping their school environment and fostering a sense of belonging for all.
